Atlantique Offshore Energy launches the commercialization of a solution to support the decarbonization of Electrical Offshore Substations
Image: PixabayThis concept, named SeeOs+H2, replaces conventional Diesel back-up generators, and secures the 18 hours of autonomy in emergency mode for the platform safety utilities as required by the Standard, with no CO2 nor NOx emissions. It integrates its own electrolyser and a complete supervision, monitoring and control system.
“We are really happy to contribute to the decarbonization of our customers’ operations and of the offshore wind sector through this kind of pioneering proposal” says Frederic Grizaud, Director of Atlantique Offshore Energy. “This project reflects our capacity to innovate and to implement ready-to-market solutions based on the lessons learned from successful execution of numerous Offshore Substations”.
