Wind Industry Profile of


New 300 MW US order for Nordex

The German manufacturer will supply 67 N155/4.X turbines for the 'El Sauz' wind farm in Texas. A 5-year service contract is included.

The El Sauz wind farm will be built in south Texas near Raymondville. The project was developed by Apex Clean Energy and is owned and operated by JERA Americas. JERA Americas is the U.S. subsidiary of international energy provider JERA Co, Inc. (JERA), which produces 30 percent of all electricity in Japan.

The turbines will be installed in summer 2022 and delivered in 4.5 MW operating mode.
