Ingeteam to Supply Protection and Control Systems

Ingeteam will supply protection and control systems for two new wind farms in Southern Italy: Craco and Serracapriola, which will be installed in 2021.

The scope of the project consists of the different protection, control and measurement system, as well as the detailed engineering services, logic project, FAT and commissioning of the substation, the company announced. For this supply, Ingeteam's INGEPAC™ EF equipment platform will be used, based on the IEC 61850 standard and containing the latest technology in automation systems.

With these new contracts Ingeteam will reach over 400 MW of renewable energy evacuated in the country, distributed in 14 projects developed since 2012.
