Japanese government announced 11 offshore wind power promoting sea area
They selected 11 areas from 5 prefectures. And, they ordered to start organizing councils at 4 areas among them.
This is the 1st step for development at general common sea area. The auctions are to take place at these 4 areas in near future.
4 advanced sea areas, starting council organization:
- Noshiro (Mitane and Oga), in Akita pref.
- Yurihonjo (north and south), in Akita pref.
- Choshi, in Tokyo pref.
- Goto (floating), in Nagasaki pref.
7 promotion sea areas:
- Nihon sea (north), in Aomori pref.
- Nihon sea (south), in Aomori pref.
- Mutsu bay, in Aomori pref.
- Happou and Noshiro, in Akita pref.
- Katagami, in Akita pref.
- Murakami & Tainai, in Niigata pref.
- Saikai (Ejima), in Nagasaki pref.
