Newly-appointed B&K Vibro President - Marcel van Helten

Brüel & Kjær Vibro (B&K Vibro) is pleased to announce that Marcel van Helten has been named President effective 1 July 2019.

Marcel was previously with Current, powered by GE, where he was the European Chief Digital Officer responsible for transforming the business into a digital-enabled and solutions-oriented business. Prior to this, Marcel spent four years at Kontron as Executive VP; Business Unit Industrials.

The majority of Marcel’s earlier career was spent in GE, where he held various leadership roles over 15 years across numerous business units.

“Marcel has developed and executed commercial and digital strategies in a wide variety of technology businesses across the world and brings to B&K Vibro and Spectris a passion and expertise in creating customer value through technology” says Mark Fleiner, Business Group Director, Industrial Solutions at Spectris. “His proven leadership skills and team spirit together with his hands-on technological insight are precisely the elements needed to further drive B&K Vibro in best serving customers' and shareholders' needs. We are delighted to have him onboard.”
