innogy Consortium Wins Offshore Wind Project Dunkerque
Image: innogyThe planned wind farm is to be built around 10 km off the coast of France and, with an installed capacity of around 600 MW, will make an important contribution to achieving the French government's goal of covering 32 percent of the country's electricity requirements from renewable energy sources by 2030.
The project plays a central role in the region's economic development plans and will create new jobs in industry, shipping and tourism.
