GPG and Vision Close Construction Financing Arrangement for Australia Wind Project

Global Power Generation (GPG), part of Spanish company Naturgy, has secured financing for up to 284 M AUD to complete the development of the Berrybank wind farm in Victoria, whose construction started in January this year. VISION is an onshore wind construction financing vehicle, launched in collaboration between institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Vestas Wind Systems.

The debt proceeds will be used to finance the construction of the Berrybank wind project, with a total installed capacity of 180 MW. The construction already started in January and its interconnection is expected to take place next year. Once interconnected, it will be one of the largest wind farms in Victoria.
