News Release from LAMBRECHT meteo GmbH
Wind Industry Profile of
New weather sensor u[sonic]WS6 made by Lambrecht meteo
The user-friendly all-in-one solution
Wind direction and speed are measured by ultrasound sensors, beyond the wind parameters the air temperature, humidity and pressure values are also determined; the dew point is calculated. The lamella shelter of the humidity and temperature sensor protects the sensor from the deteriorating effects of the climate and ensures improved and more accurate measurements.
All year round under harsh conditions
The sensor has no moving measuring elements and is therefore low-maintenance. The intelligent heating system works in relation to the wind speed and direction and keeps the sensor ice-free even under extreme weather conditions. The u[sonic]WS6 easily meets the special challenges of alpine and maritime applications.
Compact design - highest precision - flexible use
A wide variety of interfaces and protocols are available. Either as a ship weather station with NMEA protocol or SDI-12 interface for energy-efficient weather monitoring or even Modbus RTU for industrial and large-scale photovoltaic systems - there are no limits for the u[sonic]WS6 when it comes to its applications.
As the sensor only has one cable, connecting it to the power supply is quick and easy, above that it facilitates the application in numerous different systems. The u[sonic]WS6's compact and aesthetic design allows excellent integration into automatic building systems. It is suitable for wind turbines, in industrial meteorology or as an information and weather warning system in event technology.
Are you looking for a high-precision weather station which is easy to use and will simplify your work? We would be happy to advise you on our new u[sonic]WS6, which will be available from summer 2019.
