GWS Enters Installation Team for Trianel Windpark Borkum II

Jan De Nul Group has awarded Global Wind Service (GWS) with the installation and completion scope for the offshore wind farm Trianel Windpark Borkum Phase II in Germany.

GWS will deliver technicians for the installation and mechanical completion of 32 Senvion 6.2M152 PU turbines, each with a capacity of 6.33 MW. Installation works are planned to commence at site in spring 2019. GWS will deliver two teams - one to erect the turbines and the other one t perform the electrical and mechanical completion.

“We are eager to start the execution of this project with an experienced company as GWS. Their know-how and efforts are precious on this demanding project” stated Arnaud Eeman, Project Manager TWBII at Jan De Nul Group.
