Global Wind Service crosses half way point at Alibunar Wind Farm in Serbia

“We are very happy to be working on this project with Senvion in Serbia, thereby elaborating and further strengthening GWS’ engagement in the country’s wind industry, following the establishment of our local business unit in 2017.” said Michael Høj Olsen, GWS Chief Commercial Officer.
Alibunar wind farm is located between Pancevo and Alibunar village,approx. 60 kilometres north of Belgrade – not far from the ?ibuk 1wind farm, where GWS is installing 57 GE turbines. The 21 turbines at Alibunar wind farm have a hub height of 100 meters and are rated to produce two megawatts each. Together they will power around 27,600 households on average per year with green energy.
