Arkona: Last load-out!

The remaining five TPs for the Arkona Offshore Wind Farm are now shipped to Sassnitz, Germany.

The TPs were the last in a total of 60, all of which were delivered according to schedule. The production of the 60 TPs included electrical design and have all been shipped from Aalborg Harbor to Sassnitz for storage since 2017, before the final installation this fall.

The Offshore Wind Farm will have a total capacity of 385 MW and will be located in the Baltic Sea approximately 35km north of Germany’s largest island, Rügen.

The Greater Changhua offshore wind farm will produce clean energy equivalent to the reduction of 830,000 tons of CO2 emissions. Located in the Taiwan Strait, this complex, which will be the largest in the country, has a planned total capacity of 2.4GW that will be able to supply clean energy for approximately one million Taiwanese households.
