“Offshore Wind Power Seminar – Engineering Best Practice”

Offshore wind power has the potential to secure an important share of the energy supply in European countries. The key to the successful exploitation of offshore wind are safe, well-engineered and well-planned projects. The “Offshore Wind Power Seminar” by Garrad Hassan and GL Wind gives in-depth insight into the process of the design and construction phase of offshore wind projects. The seminar takes place on June 13 and 14 in London.

The first day of the seminar deals with project development, the offshore wind farm and turbine market, contractual issues, energy yield prediction and site conditions. The second day is devoted to technical aspects such as load assumptions and design options, integration of the electrical network, operation and reliability.
