Adwen sale completed

In the past year, Adwen had a month-long hanging party after it became known that Siemens and Gamesa merge their wind businesses. Siemens initially had no interest in a complete takeover of Adwen, the 50:50 joint venture between partner Gamesa and AREVA, after which a bidding campaign broke out, where, according to media reports, GE and Senvion were also involved.

The commitments already made under the tender process for offshore wind farms in France will continue to be borne by Adwen.
