Turbine Manufacturer Lagerwey Starts Crowdfunding New Facility

Wind turbine manufacturer Lagerwey starts a crowdfunding on duurzaaminvesteren.nl for the construction of a new production facility. The funding aims to collect initially € 1.0 million. Through crowdfunding also individuals can invest and profit from the growth of the Dutch wind turbine manufacturer.

In October Lagerwey already started the construction of the new production facility in Barneveld, the Netherlands. The facility should be ready in March 2017. The new production facility provides the space to build the newest Lagerwey wind turbine, the L136-4.5MW, and will double production to 50 Lagerwey wind turbines per year. Should growth surpass those numbers than there is room to expand the facility.

The headquarters of Lagerwey remains in Barneveld, one kilometer away from the new plant.
