Italy: Senvion scores 60 megawatt contract

Located in the region of Basilicata in Southern Italy, the 30 Senvion MM100 turbines will be installed from next autumn, each with a rated power of 2 MW and a hub height of 100 meters. Together, the 30 turbines will generate enough electricity to power almost 40,000 Italian households on average each year.

Altogether, Senvion has installed over 350 turbines from its MM-portfolio with a total rated output of more than 700 MW in Italy to date.
