UK: Remarkable appointed to lead consultation for Vattenfall’s largest UK offshore wind farm

The project, called Norfolk Vanguard, is proposed for an area of the North Sea off the coast of Norfolk. It has a target capacity of 1.8GW of renewable electricity, enough to meet the electricity demands of 1.3 million UK households. On the back of this appointment, Remarkable is expanding its regional office network with a new base in East Anglia to serve our growing list of clients, including Vattenfall. We are currently in the process of recruiting further team members to work out of the new office, based in Norwich.

Due to its size, Norfolk Vanguard is classed as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) and will require extensive engagement and consultation with the local communities in Norfolk. This is in line with requirements set out by the Planning Inspectorate for such projects.

Remarkable Group’s major projects construction, energy and infrastructure division, Remarkable Pendragon, will be servicing the account, headed up by director, Jamie Gordon.
