Germany: EMO’s B2 Marine Coordination Team goes on to WIKINGER project

The team had performed a 24/7 watch at the project site office in Sassnitz-Mukran between 08/2013 and 07/2015. Thereafter the MCs first continued with dayshifts in Mukran and finally moved to EnBW’s O+M center in Barhöft in the last Quarter of 2015. On 31.01.2015 the coordination and site surveillance was handed over to EnBW’s own O+M team.

We appreciate that the company has over 30 coordinators of an almost equivalent competence level. They handled sickness, leave and fluctuation without any influence on our project workflows.“ comments Thorsten Setzer, Manager Maritime Logistics at EnBW Hamburg.

That is one of the reasons why both companies will continue to work together in EnBW’s recently announced cooperation with Iberdrola for the „Wikinger“ project. That means EMO’s B2 Team will go right back to Mukran for another two years!
