US: Principle Power Applauds Governor Kate Brown’s Announcement of Offshore Wind Advisory Committee

Project Manager Kevin Banister issued the following comments today in response to the Governors announcement: “Principle Power’s WindFloat Pacific Project has enormous potential to grow Oregon’s economy and jobs, and launch the offshore wind industry in the West Coast, and we are delighted that Governor Brown and state leadership have demonstrated a commitment to bringing this enterprise to Oregon. We are committed to working with utilities, consumer groups, and other stakeholders to find the best way to bring this US Department of Energy backed multi-million dollar investment to the state. We are confident that the Governor’s advisory committee will find a path forward so that Oregonians can benefit from homegrown renewable energy and add jobs across the state.”
