In the long term we need to find alternatives to fossil fuels. Whether as partial compensation or as a replacement, renewable energy production is inevitable.

Focusing on wind power generators is not without reason; energy generation is highly efficient, plants require minimal space, can be rapidly assembled and are easy to maintain.

Weier remains firmly convinced of the success of wind-generated electricity, and will continue to support this form of power production through the development of innovative products and systems.
On the basis of our extensive experience new products and systems are being developed for this market. Permanent Magnet (PM) fed / excited synchronous generators are the key to the success of the large wind power plants of the future, such as those used in offshore applications.

At present Weier is developing large generators of one to three Megawatts, and up to five MW in the near future. In addition, we are implementing output and security management systems, as well as grid connections to the integrated network.
