Catch the Wind: Catch the Wind's Vindicator LWS Installed on Illinois Institute of Technology Wind Turbine

Manassas, July 22, 2011. A Catch the Wind Ltd. (TSX-V: CTW ) Vindicator® laser wind sensor (LWS) unit was installed on a test turbine by the Chicago-based Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) for research purposes. As stated in Catch the Wind’s May 16th, 2011 press release (http://bit.ly/rnJKsK ), the installation of the Vindicator ®unit was on the ITT’s GE 1.5 MW test turbine located on a wind farm in Marseilles, Illinois and operated by an affiliate of Invenergy LLC, the largest independent wind power generation company in the United States. The test turbine is part of the IIT Wind Energy
Consortium, a $9 million, two-year research project managed by the university’s Robert W. Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation and funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and private partners.
