BBB on the Renex 2010
"We strongly believe in the possibilities of the Turkish market," says Joachim Binotsch, CEO of BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH, "so we will again have a booth at the RENEX this year." The technical consulting firm based in Gelsenkirchen will take part in Turkey??s most important trade fair for renewable energy for the second time already.
From 9 to 12 December BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH will participate in the joint booth of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, which will be located in Hall 1 at the Istanbul Expo Center (1H29). "We are already working together with our Turkish partners IHSAN Turkeli on interesting projects," confirms Binotsch "but the growth potential for wind energy in Turkey is far from exhausted."
The aim of the Turkish government is to increase the current capacity in the field of wind energy from 800 MW to 10 000 MW by the year 2014. So far, Turkey is dependent to a large extent on imported energy, although it has ideal conditions for the development of solar and geothermal energy. The long-expected ratification of a law on the revision of the feed-in tariffs for renewable energy would open up these potentials.
