Sri Lanka - India's Suzlon Energy bags order to supply wind turbines
Leading Indian wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy said it has received an order to supply equipment for generating 10 MW of wind power capacity to a project in Sri Lanka.
"Suzlon Energy has bagged an order to supply 10 MW of wind turbine capacity to a project in Sri Lanka," the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The power project is being developed by Senok Wind Power Private Ltd. Supply of turbines would commence in the current financial year and the project would be commissioned in 2010.
