Marc-Antoine Renaud – New Marketing Officer of the World Wind Energy Association

Bonn (WWEA) – WWEA is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc-Antoine Renaud as Marketing and Public Relations Officer. Mr. Renaud recently joined the WWEA team in Bonn, and will be working to further expand the association. He brings with him sound experience in wind energy, market analysis and policy.

Marc-Antoine Renaud is an economist from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada, and holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from the Erfurt School of Public Policy in Germany. His work experience includes renewable energy market analysis for one of the biggest agricultural unions in Canada, and for a windfarm developer promoting a cooperative model. Moreover, Mr. Renaud played a substantial role in lobbying for the Quebec 2000 MW call for tender in 2006. During the past two years Mr. Renaud has been active in the field with a number of organizations and has continued to consult for renewable energy projects.
