Energia Renewables to use new GE wind turbines at Drumlins Park windfarm
Construction of the Co Monaghan windfarm will be completed and ready for grid commissioning this autumn
Energia Renewables has announced that it is has selected GE Renewable Energy to supply 8 wind turbines to its Drumlins Park windfarm (49 MW) in Co. Monaghan. The agreement includes a 25-year full-service contract. This is the first time GE’s 6.1 MW turbine will be used in Ireland and the windfarm will be capable of supplying new, renewable electricity to power 34,000 Irish households.
