Construction work begins at Falck Renewables’ wind farms in Finland
Construction work at Falck Renewables’ wind projects in Finland has now started. Falck Renewables had purchased the two ready-to-build wind farms last November from Danish group European Energy.
The two projects, Mustalamminmäki and Koiramäki, are located in the municipality of Karstula (Central Finland), with a total installed capacity of 59 MW. Once in operation, the wind farms are expected to produce around 168 GWh of electricity annually, equivalent to the energy needs of about 20,000 households. Mustalamminmäki and Koiramäki are the first projects for Falck Renewables in Finland.
