First offshore wind turbine OEM blade facility in the United States planned / Long-term lease signed with the Virginia Port Authority for more than 80 acre/32-hectare site at the Portsmouth Marine Terminal, Virginia / Envisioned to support supply of the patented Siemens Gamesa Offshore IntegralBlades / When fully operational, the blade facility would create approximately 260 jobs / Total cost estimate over $200 million including over $80 million investments for buildings and equipment at the Portsmouth Marine Terminal / Facility intended to support Dominion Energy’s 2.6 GW Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Commercial Project for which additional ~ 50 service jobs would be created
