UK’s total onshore wind project pipeline reaches up to 30 gigawatts by 2030
New research by RenewableUK shows that the total capacity of onshore wind could grow to 30GW – more than double the UK’s current operational capacity of 13.6GW – providing a boost to our net zero and green recovery ambitions.
Our latest Onshore Wind Project Intelligence report reveals that new onshore wind capacity is set to increase over the course of this decade, as technology costs fall and the resumption from next year of auctions for contracts to generate power.
