Nordex Wins Order from Colombia

According to Nordex, the order also includes a service agreement for a period of two years with an option to extend initially by three and subsequently a further five years. The turbines have a rotor diameter of 149 metres and will be installed on site on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 105 metres.

Colombia has considerable untapped wind potential in various regions, altough the market is not very big yet. Nordex is the second-strongest supplier in Latin Americathough with a focus on Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
