UK Government Delays Decision on 4.2 GW Offshore Wind Farms

RenewableUK has expressed disappointment at yesterday’s announcement by the Government that it has delayed making decisions on whether two major offshore wind projects can go ahead.

The future of Ørsted’s Hornsea Three project (2.4GW) off the east coast of England and Vattenfall’s Norfolk Vanguard project (1.8GW) will now be announced on 1st July. RenewableUK’s Chief Executive Hugh McNeal said: "Any delay in the decision-making process is disappointing.
