Loan of €183 million to the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company / Integration of 1.3 GW of new renewable energy thanks to new high voltage substations / Reducing transmission losses will result in saving 77,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year

The EBRD is supporting the development of a more resilient and robust electricity grid across Egypt with a €182.9 million loan to the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) to strengthen the transmission network in the country.
