Statkraft has recently acquired three wind power projects in Chile with a planned installed capacity of 110 MW in total.

Statkraft has recently acquired three wind power projects in Chile with a planned installed capacity of 110 MW in total. The acquisition gives Statkraft an opportunity to take advantage of the great wind power potential in the area and grow its renewable energy portfolio in Chile.

The acquired projects are Cardonal (30 MW), Manantiales (28 MW) and Cerrillos (52 MW), all located in the municipality of Litueche, in the Region of the General Liberator Bernardo O'Higgins. Each project has its Environmental Qualification Resolutions (RCA) approved, and Statkraft will now develop the projects towards investment decisions and possible completion in 2022.
