Wind Industry Profile of
Keppel O&M Wins Contract for Two Substations in Taiwan
Keppel O&M will construct two substations for Ørsted's Greater Changhua offshore wind sites in Taiwan. The area has a total potential capacity of 2.4 GW.
The company is contracted for two 600 MW substations. The contract comprises detailed engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning for the substations and excludes certain electrical components to be furnished by Ørsted. Keppel's workscope is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2021. The substations will be deployed in Ørsted's Greater Changhua offshore wind sites in Taiwan,
