TÜV SÜD wins contract for Danish offshore projects
TÜV SÜD will support the realization of the new offshore wind farms, Danish Kriegers Flak in the Baltic Sea off Denmark and Vesterhav Nord and Vesterhav Syd in the North Sea. The contract, placed by Vattenfall, covers certification of the design and manufacturing phases as well as of transport, installation and commissioning.
“These wind-farm projects demonstrate that offshore wind energy is becoming more and more competitive. We are very pleased that we will be able to contribute to this development with our optimised certification procedures”, says Alexander Heitmann, Head of Offshore Wind Energy at TÜV SÜD.
