Over the course of the project, the consortium will develop, install, demonstrate, operate and test a technology platform for the first prototype of a double-digit rated capacity turbine in a realistic offshore environment.

Ingeteam participates in ReaLCoE, a Senvion-led EU-backed 10MW+ offshore prototype project

Ingeteam, an independent global supplier of electrical conversion and turbine control equipment, announced that it is participating in ReaLCoE, a Senvion-led 10MW+ offshore prototype project, following financial sign-off on a landmark €25 million project funded by the European Commission.

Involving the most experienced offshore industry stakeholders, the ReaLCoE project serves a strategic mission to develop the “Next-Generation 10MW+ rated, Robust, Reliable and Large Offshore Wind Energy Converters for Clean, Low Cost and Competitive Electricity”. Landinfra Energy AB ("Landinfra") and Eiffel Investment Group via its managed investment funds Eiffel Infrastructure Vertes and Eiffel Transition Infrastructure ("Eiffel"), a leading French asset manager, have entered into an agreement to jointly develop a pipeline of up to 1800 MW of renewable energy projects in Sweden consisting of solar power, wind power and energy storage projects. As part of the agreement Eiffel acquires 50% of the portfolio from Landinfra, who will retain the remaining 50%.
