Beatrice OWF Expected to Run by July

Steve Wilson, Beatrice Project Manager, looks ahead to a year of mile stones as work continues to build Beatrice.

It’s safe to say that the Beatrice project has come a long way since reaching the final investment decision in May 2016. Whilst the foundations for the successful delivery of the project were laid in 2016, 2017 was the year that the project really started to ‘come to life’ in the Moray Firth. In the past twelve months, the Beatrice project team installed all offshore pile clusters, over a third of jacket substructures and over 60 kilometres of subsea cabling.
