Senvion wins first deal in Argentina totalling 97 MW
South America becoming a key market after financial close for 299 MW in Chile
Senvion, a leading global manufacturer of wind turbines, has secured an agreement for its first partnership in Argentina with EREN Renewable Energy ("EREN RE") for the supply and delivery of 27 Senvion 3.6M114 NES turbines. The project, developed and owned by EREN RE, was awarded a PPA in the RENOVAR Round 1 tender in October 2016. A total of 1,142 megawatts (MW) of different technologies were awarded of which 707 MW were wind projects. The project is still under development and has certain conditions precedent. After the planned completion of the project, Los Hercules wind farm will see a total rated output of 97,2 MW. The wind farm will be built by Senvion on a full EPC basis.... ...
