Enercon Expands Portfolio
The new model E-141 EP4 / 4.2 MW is now also available for wind class IIAS locations, and further tower heights have been added to the portfolio. "The new classification helps our customers to plan their projects at locations with good to very good wind conditions," says ENERCON sales manager Stefan Lütkemeyer. "The E-141 EP4 is suitable for a wide range of projects from coast to midland and is a highly attractive option because of its earnings strength for project developers and investors."
The E-141 EP4 is one of the most powerful onshore wind turbines in the world, with a rated output of 4.2 megawatts and a rotor diameter of 141 meters. In addition to its hybrid tower with a hub height of 129 meters, ENERCON offers the turbine in three additional tower variants: two further hybrid towers with heights of 159 meters and 135 meters as well as a steel tubular tower with a hub height of 99 meters are available. The latter is intended primarily for export.
