Kurt E. Thomsen goes for new challenges

Kurt E. Thomsen, who was the mastermind of the crane ship concept and the start-up of A2SEA back in 2000, has wanted to try his strengths on new challenges for quite some time.

Therefore A2SEA and Kurt E. Thomsen have agreed that Kurt E. Thomsen will resign his position as a business development manager within A2SEA in the beginning of March 2006, and that he can continue with other activities outside A2SEA, including consulting services for the wind turbine industry. In the beginning, Kurt E. Thomsen will perform that service from the address Holme Parkvej 268, DK-8270 Højbjerg.

Says Kurt: "I am gratified to have had the possibility of starting a company like A2SEA, but there comes a time when entrepreneurs like me must try out new ideas, and I think that time has come."

In connection with Kurt's resignation, A2SEA's CEO, Kaj Lindvig, says: "We are all happy for what Kurt started but, on the other hand, we fully understand that Kurt has reached a point where something new must be tried. In that connection we wish Kurt good luck and thank him for five years of inspiration and good cooperation.
