The wind farm has a capacity of 112 megawatts, and its 31 turbines will generate around 350 gigawatt hours of green electricity per year. The SWM share is sufficient to cover the electricity needs of 84,000 households in Munich.

Dr. Florian Bieberbach, Chairman of SWM management comments: "The joint construction and operation of the wind farm Raskiftet with our Norwegian partners is an important step for the expansion of our renewables capacity. Following the successful establishment of our wind farms in Sweden, this is the next logical step to use the excellent wind conditions and the stable conditions in Scandinavia for the production of renewable energy.”
