A2SEA sends SEA INSTALLER to Burbo Bank Ext.

The ship is about to install 32 MHI Vestas 8MW turbines on DONG Energy’s Burbo Bank Extension. The vessel is currently mobilising in Liverpool, preparing to handle the new large turbines from the beginning of September.

It's the first time, A2SEA will install the MHI Vestas 8MW turbines offshore. The turbines have already arrived in Belfast, which will be the load out port for the project.

The SEA INSTALLER is scheduled to depart its current harbour Liverpool at the end of August, sailing towards Belfast. A2SEA is currently establishing an office in Belfast.

The installation period is scheduled to last for approximately three months, after which SEA INSTALLER will continue to the next project, Race Bank for DONG Energy.
