Germany: 8.2 Consulting AG sells its shares in HPC

"As a founding member of HPC, we are proud of its development over the last years." says Charles Dugué, CEO of 8.2 Consulting AG. "In order to facilitate HPC’s next step of accreditation as a certification body, however, it is necessary that we withdraw." The 8.2 Consulting AG has therefore transferred its shares to the other shareholders GuD Consult GmbH and Thomas Köther in November 2015.

After its foundation in 2006 the 8.2 Consulting AG, quickly became a major player in the German offshore wind industry and is now active in more than 70% of the German projects. In its capacity as independent expert in the field of renewable energy, it offers a wide range of technical consulting services and inspections in on- and offshore wind, biogas and grid integration. From the initial tender process to quality assurance towards recurring inspections, its services cover the entire project life cycle. In the future, the 8.2 Consulting AG will increase its focus on HSE and contribute with its wealth of experience to the safety in wind projects.
