MHI Vestas Offshore Wind preferred supplier for Borkum Riffgrund 2

As soon as the project translates into a firm and unconditional order, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind will disclose further details about this.

CEO Jens Tommerup said, “We are extremely pleased that following a competitive tender process DONG Energy have chosen MHI Vestas Offshore Wind as the preferred supplier for the Borkum Riffgrund 2 project.”

Borkum Riffgrund 2 with an awarded grid capacity of 450MW is located in the North Sea, approximately 57km off the north-west coast of Germany and is able to cover the consumption of 460,000 German households.
