FT makes two new appointments

In order to support expansion into new market sectors, FT Technologies has made two new appointments: Aled Lumley as Applications Engineer and Michal Gajewski as Engineering Data Analyst.

Aled Lumley will work with our customers and distributors in Europe and the Americas delivering technical support and project delivery, as well as developing new business opportunities. Aled has 10 years’ experience in engineering and holds a BEng (Honours) in Integrated Engineering from Cardiff University.

“I am looking forward to working with our customers to assist and train them further on the use of our products,” said Aled. “I will also work closely with their technical and commercial managers to resolve practical issues and provide ongoing support.”

Commenting on the appointment, Fred Squire, Director of Sales and Marketing for FT Technologies noted "Aled’s previous experience in industrial engineering applications will be very relevant to our customers, especially in the energy, infrastructure, and industrial markets. His experience of environmental consulting, electronics and project management will be a great asset to us as we develop new products with greater accuracy and higher wind speed readings.”

As Engineering Data Analyst, Michal Gajewski’s primary focus will be to analyse product and process data in order to identify and implement continuous improvements in sensor performance and manufacturing. He will also support the integration of data communications and robotic automation in our new calibration wind tunnel.

Olivier Schlenkhoff-Hus, Engineering Programme Manager, said “When we interviewed Michal we knew that we had found a real expert in the area of data analysis and control systems. He will be a key player in the introduction of our new wind tunnel, applying robust data analysis to support the development and calibration of higher speed wind sensors.”

Michal holds a MSc in Engineering and Financial Mathematics from the Technical University of Gdansk.
