Portuguese Energy Minister to speak at EWEA 2014

This year’s annual event comes at an especially opportune time: just a few weeks before the March European Council meeting at which the EU’s climate and energy policies will be defined.

“With the EU discussing the need of binding 2030 renewable targets, energy prices rising and European elections coming, EWEA 2014 will be the perfect event for the European industry to meet and discuss the future of the sector. And what better place to address such issues than Spain – the first country in the world to have made wind energy its number one source of electric power,” says Luis Polo Gómez, Director General of Asociación Empresarial Eólica (AEE).

EWEA’s annual event provides a periodic opportunity for the wind energy sector to meet with decision-makers and define the strategic direction for wind energy activities in Europe.
