FWT concludes more service contracts

WAIGANDSHAIN (wl) - This end of August, FWT Trade GmbH (FWT), Waigaindshain signed another major service contract - this time about 40 wind energy plants in the 2.5 MW performance class at five locations in Ukraine.

Besides the already growing number of operators of Fuhrländer plants that are being monitored and maintained in Germany, Poland and the Benelux countries by technicians and engineers of the FWT, the dynamic company also succeeded to leap across to Eastern Europe by achieving this long-term service contract for five wind farms in Ukraine. "Our experts work closely on location together with our Ukranian licensing partners and the customer" says CEO Bernd FWT Gieseler.

With this great service contract, FWT writes its young success story: meanwhile, over 75 professionals are busy maintaining, optimising and developing wind energy plants in Westerwald, at the former Fuhrländer location. Even the production of small batches of 1.5 MW and 2.5 MW performance class has now started. In addition to this, the production of the new 2 MW compact class should also start this year. FWT has just finished signing their contracts. And to conclude, the construction of the first prototype of the latest 3 MW plant has been finished and is already being mounted.
