Exhibition Ticker - Clean Energy Summit’s exhibition underlines the event’s growth and relevance to the end energy community
And with its tremendous success, how the event has grown. But while some people familiar with the summit know it to be a leading forum for dialogue on clean energy among top-tier individuals from all sectors, one indication of its growth is the dynamic exhibition.
Exhibitor booths at the National Clean Energy Summit, in fact, are always a focus of excitement and conversation among the attendees and speakers, which include clean energy technology corporations, industry executives, think tanks, innovative leaders and prominent government officials. The speakers at the summit always make time to tour the exhibition area, and in fact last year you could find President Clinton sitting in a new Tesla S series!
The National Clean Energy Summit returns to Las Vegas on Tuesday, August 13, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino to focus on the future of clean energy, with the sixth iteration of the event being appropriately dubbed “Energizing Tomorrow.” Recognized as the nation’s foremost clean energy conversation, the event this year will examine the importance of making clean energy choices that will have a positive effect on the future.
The annual conference is hosted by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), the Center for American Progress, the Clean Energy Project, MGM Resorts International, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
More on the big names associated with the event will come in another article. (AWEA, not surprisingly, will be participating.) In fact, much of the action at the summit takes place at the exhibition. The event gives companies and other organizations the opportunity to showcase their technologies and businesses as well as reach influential government and economic leaders. And, organizers point out, when organizations exhibit, they support—and are a part of—a crucial annual event that has led to significant steps in creating the clean energy economy.
