GILDEMEISTER has received orders in the Energy Solutions division of € 29.2 million. The projects for the production and storage of renewable energies in Romania, Italy and Germany will already start up this year.
In Romania GILDEMEISTER is installing the first 8 megawatt solar park. The major solar installation will produce “green electricity” north of Bucharest. A second project will be set up west of the capital. Further projects are planned in the sunshine region of the Black Sea for the next year. On the Italian coast of the Adriatic Sea near Rimini GILDEMEISTER sold a 6.5 megawatt solar park to a German investor.
In the field of energy storage technology, GILDEMEISTER will supply a major vanadium redox flow battery for the “SmartRegion Pellworm”-project of the energy supplier E.ON. With a capacity of 1.6 megawatt hours, the CellCube stores “green electricity” from wind power and solar installations on the German North Sea island. The renewable energy is fed, according to consumption, into the regional electricity grid and ensures a self-sufficient base load supply for the third largest island in the Schleswig Holstein Wattenmeer national park.
GILDEMEISTER energy solutions offer integrated energy solutions for the production, storage and use of renewable energies. GILDEMEISTER will reach, as announced, an order intake in this division, including internal projects, of about € 80 million in the financial year 2012. For the year 2013 we are planning a positive development in the business division Energy Solutions.
