After having graduated with a degree in physics, Heinrich Duden built up the offshore department for Energiekontor AG which he headed until 2002. Together with other experts from the wind energy sector, he founded the ep4 offshore GmbH. Mr. Duden is also the MD of PTS – personnel transfer system GmbH. Since 1996 Mr. Duden has been involved in project development on an international basis and offers consulting and service attendance to companies. All in all Mr. Duden has led over 20 projects in the past 15 years. Mr. Duden has been involved in the planning of projects in Great Britain (UK Round 1.2 and 3), Poland, the Netherlands, Greece, Italy, Malta, the USA as well as the UAE and Germany.

Since 1991 Dr. Thomas Tschiesche has been involved in international project management and active in the wind industry since 1997, where he acted as managing director of a wind turbine manufacturer with project management and sales in Germany, Spain, Greece and China. This competent offshore development partner is involved in the development of projects in the offshore wind energy sector and offers beyond that wind energy-specific consulting and service attendance on an international basis

The ep4 offshore GmbH offers a high performance access system (PTS) for unmanned offshore structures e.g. offshore wind turbines or lighthouses. The system ensures safe access for maintenance staff as well as a safe transfer of material and spare parts even at higher sea levels.

Before an offshore wind farm becomes operational, well organized logistic procedures are necessary, in order to ensure smooth operational sequences.

Within a framework of its own logistic concept the ep4 offshore GmbH will operate a supply and accommodation vessel, which can be chartered for persons - and material transport to offshore wind farms. In this manner port operation, the transfer of consumables and waste as well as on-site accommodation of technicians can be combined.

Marketing developments - Rp4’s unique offering of 1) project development; 2) Consulting & Services and 3) Logistics has positioned itself as a company to look out for when offshore projects are the name of the game. For instance, at this year's EWEA Offshore exhibition in Amsterdam many new contacts could be established and the relationship to its business partner BBB Umwelttechnik was intensified. This year's offshore exhibition turned out to be a complete success. The joint exhibition stand was well attended at all times.
