REpower successful at HUSUM WindEnergy
Hamburg, 24.09.2012. Numerous preliminary negotiations and meetings with suppliers, service providers and interested parties rounded off the week in Husum. In 2014, REpower will attend the WindEnergy Hamburg.
“The trade fair was a success for REpower. We had very promising discussions with our customers – particularly customers from Germany,” says Jens Müller-Nielsen, Managing Director of REpower Systems GmbH, the subsidiary in charge of business in Germany. “Potential business partners also availed themselves of the opportunity to obtain detailed information about REpower and its products. In particular, the reorientation of our 3 MW series with the high hub heights met with considerable interest,” he adds.
REpower offers three products in the 3 MW onshore class. In line with their potential, the existing turbines 3.2M114 and 3.4M104 are being certified for sites with higher wind speeds. The 3.0M122 is a new turbine type. It has a rotor diameter of 122 metres and has been designed for conditions at sites with low wind speeds in particular.
Starting in 2014, REpower will exhibit at WindEnergy Hamburg. CEO Andreas Nauen comments: “With its modern exhibition centre and its advanced infrastructure, Hamburg offers an ideal environment for a leading international trade fair. For us, Hamburg is the wind trade fair site of the future. We look forward to presenting our entire onshore and offshore portfolio under one roof here starting in 2014.”
