Wind Industry Profile of

Third EWEA Technology Workshop:

Wind Turbine Noise: From Source to Receiver 11 & 12 December 2012, Saïd Business School, Oxford, UK

Following the success of the workshops on resource assessment (Brussels, May 2011) and post-construction assessment (Lyon, July 2012), EWEA's third technology workshop will provide a unique, industry-only forum within which to discuss the key acoustic issues currently facing the industry.

Why attend?
Here's what attendees said about the most recent workshop:

Quality content:
“It was great to see more technical presentations and to have the time to discuss them in plenary.” Vestas, Denmark

“An excellent event - both from the point of view of form and content. It has been one of the most rewarding conferences I have ever participated in.” Aarhus School of Engineering, Denmark

Ample time for discussions and networking with your peers:
“I found it very refreshing to be in a very like-minded group of professionals, without lots of companies just trying to sell services.” Wind Prospect LTD, UK

“I really liked the balance between presentations, time for discussions and the time for networking.” ECN, The Netherlands

Direct benefit for your work:
“Very useful for my current projects.” DCNS, France

“The workshop gave me an in depth understanding of the main issues and enabled me to discuss them with well-informed attendees.” AXYS, Canada

This technology workshop is one of the ways in which EWEA supports you!
In addition to its representing the views of the industry to the EU-institutions and issuing in-depth reports and studies, EWEA organises its technology workshops solely to satisfy requests from its members for quality debates of the issues that matter most.

And it's half the price of other similar events!
EWEA technology workshops are excellent value for money and are typically half the price of those offered by commercial organisers. As the industry's non-profit association in Europe, EWEA can hold these workshops thanks to the continued support of its members.
